Sofea Watkins aka “Ms Sofea” and also affectionately called “Mama” by young people that meet her, started entertaining audiences before she started writing her own name. She started singing in the church choir at a very young age. She would go on to win state-wide talent shows, record and tour

with secular and gospel artists alike. As her

career progressed she had much success as a

Her vastly successful career lead her to relocate

to Los Angeles, where she became a well sought

after Vocal/Acting Coach, Consultant and Talent

Manager. She is commonly referred to as a

Trailblazing “Star Maker"  because of her keen

insight and undeniable instinct to identify  the

uniqueness of each individual artist. She

specializes in creating a strategic plan to develop their talent, increase their confidence, while helping them navigate the entertainment industry. She trains in the areas of vocals, acting, performance and stage coaching, & songwriting. Her students have gone on to compete in shows like American Idol, The Voice, Making the Band, The Four & Showtime at the Apollo. Her clients have booked  tv shows, feature films, commercials, large music festivals, headline national tours and inked million dollar recording label and endorsement deals. 

 

With over 20 years in the entertainment business, Sofea’s main objective is to help her students find and carve out their unique niche and sound to be competitive and marketable in today’s ever-changing entertainment industry.
